Sister Mary beat her students with a strap.
She did not help the students that needed help she singled them out and punished them.
She singled out Audre for breaking her glasses and put her in a very embarrassing situation by having the rest of the class pray for her while she sat in the back of the class with a dunce cap on.
Sister Mary called Audre a liar when she brought in her homework. She did not believe that she did the work herself.
This whole story, minus the strap and dunce cap brought back so many unhappy memories for me in school. These are the teachers that should be strapped for the ways they teach our children.
